The journey started in 1993 under the name Summit Systems providing Norwegian industry with competence, software and PC/workstations. Our approach was Business Process Re-engineering supported by digital solutions.

In close co-operation with NTNU our engineers were recognized for high competence and integrity.
In 2015 through a demerger we became Digitread, new name but still the same values and focus, helping the industry become more effective through better processes understanding digital technology and utilizing it for the best for the industry.

Digitread Connect was established in 2019, IIoT was ramping up and the need for sustainable solutions was obvious. Based on Low-code Digitread Connect develops applications fast but still bespoke to customer needs often with our Platform based on Google Cloud and our Edge solutions.

Going forward our customers' projects were often delayed because customers found it hard to navigate and choose the best sensor solutions. Way too often they needed a blend of solutions from different sensor providers. We learned that unlike the IT marked the sensor marked missed a system integrator that could advise, project, and supply sensor solutions.
